उत्तर
Rubber-like materials can be prepared by synthetic methods and can be used as a substitute for natural rubber. Such synthetic materials are called synthetic rubbers. The majority of synthetic rubbers have different structures from natural rubber and are not exact replicas of natural rubber. Many conjugate dienes are polymerized to create these rubbers. Fritz Hoffmann created the first synthetic rubber in 1909.
