The following table shows the distribution of marks in a 50 marks test in Mathematics:

Draw the ogive for the above distribution and hence estimate the median marks.

| 20 - 30 | 13 | 16 + 13 = 29 |

| 40 - 50 | 4 | 36 + 4 = 40 |
| n = 40 |
Median =`(40/2)^"th" = 20^"th"` term

∴ Median = 23
