उत्तर

  1. When play is underway and the ball cannot be recovered. The other factors is when the umpires agree that the ball is not fit for play after normal use. The umpire will replace it with a ball with wear equivalent to the prior ball. When the ball is replaced, the umpire will notify the hitter and the fielding captain.
  2. If the umpires agree that the ball’s condition was unfairly changed by a member(s) of the fielding side, the batsman at the wicket must select a replacement ball from a selection of six other balls of varying degrees of usage (including a new ball) and the same brand as the ball in use prior to the breaking.
  3. If the umpires believe that the condition of the ball was unfairly altered by a member(s) of the batting side, the umpire shall choose and put into play immediately a ball with wear comparable to that of the preceding ball immediately prior to the breaking.
