उत्तर

The value of the discriminant of the equation, `sqrt(3)x^2 + 10x + 7sqrt(3) = 0` is 16.

Explanation:

For ax2 + bx + c = 0, discriminant D = b2 – 4ac.

Here a = `sqrt(3)`, b = 10, c = `7sqrt(3)`.

So, `D = 10^2 - 4(sqrt(3))(7sqrt(3))`

= 100 – 4 × 7 × 3

= 100 – 84

= 16

Since D > 0, the equation has two distinct real roots.
