∴ q = 1 – p = 1 – 0.5 = 0.5

Given, n = 6

∴ X ~ B(6, 0.5)

The p.m.f. of X is given by

P(X = x) = ⁶C_x (0.5)^x (0.5)^6–x, x = 0, 1, …, 6

P(none will recover) = P(X = 0)

= ⁶C₀ (0.5)⁰ (0.5)⁶
