Question

विकल्प

• potato harvests

• two different ways of harvesting potatoes

• people in Ireland

Answer 1

The poem is about two different ways of harvesting potatoes.

Explanation:

The poem contrasts a contemporary, mechanised potato harvest with the catastrophic potato harvest during the Irish famine. This contrast also recalls how dependent people were on the potato crop.
