प्रश्न
The play revolves around a ‘perceived threat’ and how Weston and Lady Weston react to it. Reverse their roles with a panic-stricken Lady Weston and a frivolous Lord Weston. In a small group, choose a piece of dialogue from the play and rewrite it to suit the changed roles. Share it by taking parts and reading your script aloud with suitable tone and expression.

उत्तर
(Lady Weston rushes in, clutching a scrap of paper. Lord Weston is relaxing by the fireplace.)
| Lady Weston: (in alarm) | Richard! We are in terrible danger! Look at this dreadful message! |
| Lord Weston: (light-heartedly) | A message? Perhaps it is an invitation to tea. Do sit down, Frances. |
| Lady Weston: | It says, “Remember Caesar”! And it is the fifteenth of March—the very day Caesar was murdered! |
| Lord Weston: (cheerfully) | How thoughtful of someone to remind you of history. I always forget the date. |
| Lady Weston: (growing more anxious) | This must be a warning that someone plans to kill you! We must lock every door and close every window! |
| Lord Weston: | But then how will the groceries get in? I was rather looking forward to the fresh bread. |
| Lady Weston: | Bread! You may not live to eat it! |
| Lord Weston: (getting up lazily) | In that case, perhaps you should have the first slice. |
| Lady Weston: (horrified) | Richard, this is no time for jokes! Come away from the window—someone might be watching! |
| Lord Weston: (glancing outside) | If they are, I hope they can see how handsome I look in this light. |
(Lady Weston pulls him away from the window as he chuckles.)
