The four groups studied four different regions of a state and found the following employment opportunities:

Region Main Activity Employment that can be generated
Region 1 Paddy cultivation Farmers, agricultural labourers, tractor drivers, irrigation workers, workers in rice mills, transporters, traders, storage workers and fertiliser/seed sellers
Region 2 Coconut plantation Plantation workers, coconut harvesters, coir-making workers, oil-processing workers, packers, transporters, traders and workers producing coconut-based products
Region 3 Fishing Fishermen, boat operators, net makers, fish cleaners, ice-factory workers, cold-storage workers, fish processors, transporters and fish sellers
Region 4 Livestock rearing Dairy farmers, cattle rearers, milk collectors, veterinary workers, fodder suppliers, workers in dairy processing, transporters and sellers of milk products
