उत्तर
- Chennai ranks second in terms of the amount of rainfall. It receives winter rainfall which is not seen in other cities.
- From the temperature curves, Delhi and Kolkata seem to have extreme temperatures.
-
Delhi: Max (40°C) - Min (15°C) = 25°C
Kolkata: Max (38°C) - Min (17°C) = 21°C
Mumbai: Max (35°C) - Min (20°C) = 15°C
Chennai: Max (35°C) - Min (24°C) = 11°C - Chennai has the minimum temperature range (followed closely by Mumbai). As a result of the sea's immense effect, Chennai has an equable and moderate maritime climate throughout the year.
- In Delhi, the temperature range is at its maximum. We can conclude from this that Delhi has an extreme or continental climate, with very hot summers and very cold winters, due to its location deep within the subcontinent, far from oceanic influences.
- The Climate of Mumbai is a Tropical wet and dry climate. Mumbai’s climate can be best described as moderately hot with a high level of humidity.
- Extreme Climate: Delhi, Kolkata.
Equable Climate: Mumbai, Chennai
