उत्तर
- During Air Travel:
- Feeling: Your ears may "pop" or feel blocked during takeoff or landing.
- Reason: As the airplane rapidly changes altitude, the atmospheric pressure outside changes quickly, but the pressure inside your ear takes time to adjust. This imbalance causes the ear drum to stretch, creating discomfort until the pressure equalizes.
- On a Mountain or High Hill:
- Feeling: You may feel shortness of breath or light-headedness at high altitudes.
- Reason: At higher altitudes, atmospheric pressure is lower, meaning there is less oxygen available in each breath. Your body has to work harder to take in enough oxygen, which causes the physical effects.
