उत्तर
When a few drops of dil. HCl are added to AgNO3, a thick, curdy white precipitate of AgCl is formed. When an excess of NH4OH is added to the AgCl precipitate, it forms a complex salt, [Ag(NH3)2]Cl, which is soluble in nitric acid.
