उत्तर

When a few drops of dilute HCl are added to AgNO3 solution, a thick, curdy white precipitate of AgCl is formed. On adding excess NH4OH, the precipitate dissolves due to the formation of soluble diamminesilver(I) complex, [Ag(NH3)2]Cl.
