उत्तर
The equation y – 5x ≥ 0 of the form y = 5x, which shows that the line passes through the origin in the first and third quadrant more inclined towards the Y-axis.
Since the line passes through the origin, it can not be taken as a landmark for the solution set.
Consider another point, say (3,1) on the graph.
The inequation is
y – 5x ≤ 0
Put x = 3, y = 1 in the equation
y – 5x ≥ 0
1 – 5(3) = – 14 ≥ 0
Which shows that the solution set is not containing the point (3, 1).
The solution set does not contain the point (3, 1).
