[x + [x + [x]]] = 9

∴ [x + [x] + [x]] = 9  ...`[([x + "n"] = [x] + "n"),("if n is an integer")]`

∴ [x + 2 [x]] = 9

∴ [x] + 2 [x] = 9    ...[2 [x] is an integer]

∴ [x] = 3

∴ x ∈ [3, 4)
