उत्तर

Given:

`sqrt(x(x-7)) = 3sqrt2`

`x(x-7) = (3sqrt2)^2`

x(x − 7) = 18

x2 − 7x − 18 = 0

Two numbers whose product = −18 and sum = −7.

These numbers are 9 and 2.

(x − 9) (x + 2) = 0

x − 9 = 0

⇒ x = 9

x + 2 = 0

⇒ x = −2

x = 9 or x = −2
