5 ≤ 2x and 2x ≤ 8.

∴ `(5)/(2) ≤ x and x ≤ 4`

∴ `(5)/(2) ≤ x ≤ 4`
∴ Solution set = `{x : x ∈ "R", (5)/(2) ≤ x ≤ 4}`
