According to Avogadro’s law, equal volumes of all gases at the same temperature and pressure contain an equal number of molecules.

At S.T.P. (0°C and 1 atm), 1 mole of any gas contains 6.022 × 1023 molecules and occupies 22.4 L.

Since the gram molecular mass of a gas is equal to 1 mole of that gas, therefore:

Gram molecular mass of any gas occupies 22.4 L at S.T.P.​
