Relate the first and second vision of Dr. Kalam.

1. The First Vision: Freedom
   Dr. Kalam identifies India’s first vision as Freedom, won through the War of Independence in 1857. He believes that because India has historically respected the freedom of others and never invaded another land, we must now value and protect our own independence. His core belief is that “If we are not free, no one will respect us.”
2. The Second Vision: Development:
   His second vision is for India to transition from a developing nation to a Developed Nation. He emphasizes that for fifty years India has been in a state of development, but it is now time to recognize our strengths, such as being among the top five economies in the world and self-sufficient in food production, to achieve the status of a fully developed power.
