Tiger Attacks 8 Year Old at Rajiv Gandhi National Park

In yet another incident at Rajiv Gandhi National Park, an 8-year-old was attacked by a tiger yesterday morning. The boy escaped with minimal injuries but was truly shaken by the incident.

The youngster and his mom were at the national park when the incident happened. The child fell into the tiger enclosure after getting a bit too close to the railing. He was scratched by the tiger’s paws within the enclosure. However, the authorities intervened and removed the tiger from the youngster before it could cause any serious harm. After being securely removed from the enclosure, the kid received first aid. After being brought to the hospital, the medical staff reassured him that his wounds were not serious. This year, there have been three such incidents. In the same National Park, a tiger attacked two guys earlier this year. It’s time to consider whether park officials are carrying out their duties effectively. The visitors’ lives will remain in danger if the required safety precautions are not implemented promptly.
