उत्तर
\[\ce{MnO2 + 4HCI(conc) -> MnCI2 + CI2 + 2H2O}\].
Chlorine thus obtained is derived by passing through concentrated Sulphuric acid. This dried chlorine is passed over heated Iron to get anhydrous Iron (III) chloride.
\[\ce{2Fe(heated) + 3CI2(dry) -> 2FeCI3 }\]
