Sample space, S = {(H, 1), (H, 2), (H, 3), (H, 4), (H, 5), (H, 6), (T, 1), (T, 2), (T, 3), (T, 4), (T, 5), (T, 6)}

∴ n(S) = 12

Event A: To get a head and a prime number.

∴ A = {(H, 2), (H, 3), (H, 5)}

∴ n(A) = 3

∴ P(A) = `(n(A))/(n(S))`

= `3/12`

= `1/4`

Event B: To get a tail and an odd number.

∴ B = {(T, 1), (T, 3), (T, 5)}

∴ n(B) = 3

∴ P(B) = `(n(B))/(P(B))`

= `3/12`

= `1/4`
