उत्तर
Taiga (boreal) trees provide a wide range of both timber and non‑timber products. Their softwoods (pine, spruce, fir, cedar, hemlock, poplar, Douglas fir, etc.) are harvested for lumber and construction materials (beams, doors, windows, plywood), furniture, plywood/veneer, and manufactured wood goods; they are also processed into wood pulp, paper, newsprint and packing cases, and used to make items like sports goods and toys. In addition, the taiga yields non‑timber products such as berries, e.g., blueberries, mushrooms, mosses, and lichens, and even local products like maple sap/syrup and fuelwood/biomass that support local economies.
