- Circum – Pacific Earthquake Belt:- i.e. around the Pacific Ocean. This belt goes along with the coast of America and the East coast of Asia.
- Mid World Mountain Earthquake Belt:- This belt runs through the middle of Asia from the East and goes beyond the Mediterranean sea as far as the West Indies. This belt, however, is not so active as Pacific Belt.
