उत्तर
- Batholiths: Large, coarse-grained igneous rock bodies that form the base of mountains. They are exposed on the surface after erosion of the overlying material over millions of years.
- Laccoliths: Dome-shaped sills of lava that solidify slowly beneath the surface, giving them a characteristic dome shape.
- Sills: Sheets of magma that cool and solidify between horizontal layers of the parent rock.
- Dykes (or Dikes): Vertical intrusive formations where magma solidified in cracks and fissures of the bedrock.
