∴ She is left with `7/2` m − `7/4` m
= `(7 xx 2)/(2 xx 2)` m − `7/4` m
= `(14 m - 7 m)/4` ...[ ∵ L.C.M. of 2 and 4 is 4]
= `7/4` m
= `1 3/4` m of lace
