The later Sikh Gurus also demonstrated this principle through their actions. For example, Guru Tegh Bahadur gave his life to protect the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits. This shows that Sikhism strongly supported equality, dignity, and respect for everyone, regardless of their religion or background.
