    1. Figure 1 shows a guy being dominated by his wife while also dominating his mother. The artist says that the tradition of the mother-in-law influencing the daughter-in-law through her son has reversed as a result of new social phenomena.
    2. In Figure 2, the roles of men and women are reversed. Women enjoy hookah, and men play the veena to entertain their wives.
    3. In Figure 3, the artist conveys the concept that social changes do not influence English households.
  1. Women’s empowerment and upliftment through western education were among the social transformations taking place. These changes prompted artists to portray such depictions of families in India.
  2. According to me, the artist’s opinions in images 1, 2, and 3 are more extreme than the actual situation. They are either somewhat out of focus or overly assumed. The artist may have been more mild in their comments about the societal changes occurring in Indian culture.
