English:

Once in a garden there was a crow thirsty. He wandered around to get some water. But he couldn't find water anywhere. Finally he saw a pot. There was little water in the pot. So the crow was unable to drink water. Then the crow thought of a solution. He threw the pieces of stone into the pot. Thus gradually the water of the pot came up. The crow was pleased to drink the water. That is why it is said that things are accomplished by hard work and not by desires.

एक बार एक बगीचे में एक कौआ प्यासा था। वह पानी के लिए इधर-उधर भटक रहा था। लेकिन उसे कहीं पानी नहीं मिला। आखिर में उसे एक घड़ा दिखा। घड़े में पानी बहुत कम था। इसलिए कौआ पानी नहीं पी पा रहा था। तब कौए को एक उपाय सूझा। उसने पत्थर के टुकड़े घड़े में फेंक दिए। इस तरह धीरे-धीरे घड़े का पानी ऊपर आ गया। कौआ पानी पीकर खुश हुआ। इसीलिए कहा जाता है कि चीजें मेहनत से होती हैं, इच्छाओं से नहीं।
