उत्तर

x : y = 3 : 4

`x/y : 3/4`

`(3y - x)/(2x + y) = (3 - x/y)/(2x/y + 1)`

Substitute `x/y = 3/4`

= `(3 - 3/4)/(2. 3/4 + 1)`

Simplify numerator:

3 = `12/4`

`12/4 - 3/4`

= `9/4`

Simplifying denominator:

`2 xx 3/4 = 6/4`

`1 = 4/4`

`6/4 + 4/4`

= `10/4`

Now divide:

`(9/4)/(10/4)`

= `9/10`

∴ 3y − x : 2x + y = 9 : 10
