∴ `dx/dt` = 2cos t cos 2t - sin t sin 2t and

∴ `dy/dx = (dy/dt)/(dx/dt) = (cos t cos 2t - 2sin t sin 2t)/(2cos t cos 2t - sint sin 2t)`
