1. Putting the garbage into the trash.
2. Repair and maintain the goods and use them for longer.
3. Using 3 'R' mantras in solid waste management. Reduce (reducing waste), reuse (reuse of waste), recycle (recycling of waste)
4. Put the plastic wrap of chocolate, biscuits, ice cream or cold materials into dust bins without putting it in the road or open space.
5. Avoid the use of plastic bags and use bags made from cloth bags, home old saris, bedsheets, and curtains as an alternative.
6. Writing on both sides of the paper. Re-use of greeting cards, and gift papers.
7. By reducing the use of tissue paper, use a handkerchief near themselves.
8. Using a rechargeable battery instead of leading batteries.
9. To encourage themselves, family and society in solid waste management, implementing various programs.
10. Avoiding ‘use and throw’ type of articles like pens, canned cold drinks and tetra-packs etc.
