- Natural disasters — It includes floods, cyclones, earthquakes
and droughts that happen with natural forces and no human intervention. - Man-made disasters — It includes train accidents, plane crashes, nuclear or industrial accidents, biological disasters, terrorist attacks, use of weapons and mass destruction which are caused by human acts.
