Nepal and India enjoy very cordial relations
-
A treaty between two countries that allows citizens of one country to visit and work in the other without the need for visas or passports. Nepalese have the right to serve in all government services in India, save the IAS, IPS, and IFS.
- Relations between India and Nepal are relatively stable and peaceful. Despite their differences, the two countries are held together through trade, scientific cooperation, shared natural resources, power generation, and interconnected water management grids.
