उत्तर

Assume a truck passes a two-wheeler or automobile on the highway. According to Bernoulli’s principle, air flowing between vehicles passes through a narrower channel and speeds up, decreasing in pressure. Increased pressure on the exterior causes the two-wheeler or automobile to swerve toward the truck.

When two ships sail side-by-side within a short distance, water moves quicker in the tight space between them due to the largest point in the middle. As water velocity increases, the Bernoulli effect reduces pressure between ships, causing them to draw closer together. Several ships collided and sustained damage in the early 20th century. Ships undertaking at-sea refuelling or cargo transfers are highly unsafe for similar reasons.
