In order to convert a mixed fraction into an improper fraction, we use following formula improper fraction,
Improper fraction = `("Whole number" xx "Denominator" + "Numerator")/"Denominator"`
∴ `11 9/80 = (11 xx 80 + 9)/80`
= `(880 + 9)/80`
= `889/80` cm
