उत्तर

(a) Lead (II) carbonate is prepared by reacting lead nitrate with sodium carbonate to form lead carbonate and sodium nitrate.

\[\ce{Pb(NO3)2(aq) + Na2CO3(aq) → PbCO3(s) + 2 NaNO3(aq)}\]

(b) Copper (II) chloride is produced through the reaction between copper carbonate and hydrochloric acid which also releases water and carbon dioxide.

\[\ce{CuCO3(s) + 2 HCl(aq) → CuCl2(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)}\]

Alternative method: Copper (II) chloride can also be synthesized by the direct reaction of copper metal with chlorine gas.

\[\ce{Cu(s) + Cl2(g) → CuCl2(s)}\]

(c) Iron (II) chloride is formed by reacting iron with hydrochloric acid, which results in the production of iron chloride and hydrogen gas.

\[\ce{Fe(s) + 2 HCl(aq) → FeCl2(aq) + H2(g)}\]
