Why is there lack of community feeling in cities?

In cities, there is a lack of a sense of community. This statement is relevant for a variety of reasons.

1. People from various backgrounds and cultures reside in cities. The city area becomes more cosmopolitan as a result of their hard work and attempts to raise their standard of living, which makes the people appear to have less of a sense of community.
2. People in cities tend to maintain relationships primarily for their second line of work, so there are fewer formal and primary relationships. Therefore, if most relationships in a community are secondary, then there will undoubtedly be a lack of a sense of community.
3. In urban areas, social mobility is widespread. People frequently change their locations and move around, so it stands to reason that they will not be familiar with a given area.
4. Because the nuclear family system is prevalent in urban areas, it is clear that residents have less affection for the neighbourhood in which they reside.
