Give two reasons favouring the location of Iron and Steel Plant in north-eastern Deccan.

(i) Availability of iron ore, manganese, coal, limestone in close nearness since transportation of these bulky material would require a lot of money.
(ii) Iron and Steel industry is a labour intensive industry. Jharkhand, Bihar and U. P. of India are densely populated and cheap labour available.
