उत्तर
Geitonogamy is a kind of pollination in which the pollen grains are transferred from the anther of a flower to the stigma of another flower on the same plant.
Geitonogamous flowering plants are genetically autogamous as the gametes come from the same parent plant, but since the pollen grains are being transferred to a different flower which needs a pollinating agent, it is functionally an example of cross pollination.
