Exterior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary
∴ (2x − 15) + (3x + 20) = 180°
2x − 15 + 3x + 20 = 180°
5x + 5 = 180°
5x + 5 − 5 = 180° − 5
5x = 175°
x = `(175^circ)/5`
= 35°
x = 35°
