In India, administrative reforms are long overdue. The First and Second Administrative Reforms Commissions underlined this point. The main flaws in Indian government include red tape, lack of openness, incompetence, and corruption. Numerous administrative improvements have been implemented recently. The most notable administrative changes are the Citizens’ Charter, the Right to Information and Lokpal-Lokayukta.
