3. Naxalite-Maoist Insurgency: A left-wing extremist movement mainly active in central and eastern states, targeting the state, police, and landlords in the name of social justice.
4. Caste and Communal Violence: Periodic eruptions of violence based on caste and religion, affecting states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
