2. The Amazon Basin in Brazil does have low population density due to dense forests, poor soil, and difficult living conditions. The Himalayan mountain range in India also has a low population density because of its steep terrain, cold climate, and inaccessibility.

Differences:

1. India is the second most populated country in the world while Brazil is the fifth.
2. The highest concentration of the population in India is in the northern plains while Brazil is the southeastern coastal lowlands.
