उत्तर

This group consists of elected representatives who hold top decision-making positions in the government. They are chosen by the people through elections and are accountable to the public. Examples include the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and other ministers. They make key policy decisions and direct the work of the government. These leaders are entrusted with the responsibility of guiding the nation or state in accordance with public interest and constitutional provisions. They decide on major issues such as national security, economic development, education reforms, foreign policy, and social welfare. Although they do not personally carry out administrative tasks, they supervise and guide the permanent executive (civil servants) who implement their decisions.

The political executive is expected to act with transparency and fairness and in line with the democratic will of the people. They can be questioned in the legislature and must justify their policies and actions. Their position is not permanent; they hold office for a specific term and must seek re-election to continue. Through their leadership, vision, and decisions, the political executive plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning and development of the country.
