उत्तर

The Going Concern Concept is a fundamental accounting assumption that assumes a business will continue to operate indefinitely into the foreseeable future, with no desire or need to liquidate or severely scale back its activities. Because of this continuity assumption, accountants can safely register fixed assets at their historical cost rather than current market or liquidation values, and then distribute that cost across the asset’s useful life using annual depreciation. It establishes the logical foundation for distinguishing between long-term assets and short-term liabilities, ensuring that financial statements reflect a solid, ongoing business enterprise.
