2. The rise in urban crime causes a lot of tension and insecurity, which makes city life dangerous. Some criminals use their resources to rise to high political positions.
3. People from wealthy families also turn to crime in order to satisfy their desires for a luxurious lifestyle and to make quick money. This is also true for the poor, the disadvantaged, and those who live in slums.
4. In many major cities, violent urban crimes like domestic violence, rape, murder, kidnapping, cybercrime, economic offence, and various types of white-collar crime are pervasive.
5. Urban crime is widespread and getting worse every day because people are becoming more involved in crime as a result of other problems and rising standards of living.
