उत्तर

“Intelligence is an ability to think on an abstract level.”

David Wechsler defines intelligence as, “the aggregate or global capacity of an individual to act purposefully, to think rationally and to deal effectively with his environment”.

Intelligence tests are classified into verbal and nonverbal intelligence tests based on the material used in the tests. Verbal intelligence tests are intelligence tests that use language (words or numbers) to assess intelligence. Subjects are required to respond verbally to test items in these tests. Verbal intelligence tests include the Army Alpha Test, Weschler's Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS), and others.
