Afforestation, growing more plants and forest help to absorb greenhouse gases CO2 during photosynthesis.

Checking deforestation means reducing the burning of wood and also the use of biofertilizers instead of nitrogenous fertilizers to help the control emission of greenhouse gases, i.e. nitrous oxide.
