उत्तर

The pollen tube releases the two male gametes into the synergy’s cytoplasm after they have entered one of the synergids. The syngamy is completed when one of the male gametes approaches the egg cell and merges with its nucleus. As a result, the zygote, a diploid cell is created. A triploid primary endosperm nucleus (PEN) is created when the other male gamete approaches and merges with the two polar nuclei in the central cell.

This process is known as triple fusion since it entails the fusing of these haploid nuclei. Double fertilization is a phenomena that is specific to flowering plants because syngamy and triple fusion, two forms of fusions, occur in an embryo sac.
