उत्तर
- Deendayal Upadhyaya was an Indian politician who was a supporter of the Hindutva ideology promoted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the founder of the Bharatiya Janata Sangh, the progenitor of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
- His point of view is known as 'Integral Humanism,' and it was meant to create a 'indigenous socio-economic paradigm' in which humans remain at the center of progress. Integral Humanism seeks to ensure a dignified life for all humans while balancing the requirements of the individual and society.
- It promotes sustainable utilization of natural resources in order to replenish those resources. Integral Humanism promotes not just political democracy, but also economic and social democracy. It is most suited for a country as diverse as India since it tries to promote variety.
- The philosophy of Integral Humanism is based on the following three principles:
- Primacy of whole, not part
- Supremacy of Pharma
- Autonomy of Society
- Both Western 'capitalist individualism' and 'Marxist socialism' were rejected by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. According to Deendayal Upadhyaya, capitalist and socialist ideologies only consider the needs of the human body and mind, thus they are materialistic in nature, whereas spiritual development is equally important for the complete development of a human being, which is lacking in both capitalism and socialism.
