Question

Does our body emit infrared radiation. If so state their approximate range.

Answer 1

Yes. The human body emits infrared radiation because it gives off heat. The approximate wavelength range of infrared radiation is 8 × 10⁻⁷ m to 10⁻³ m. Most radiation emitted by the human body is around 10 μm (10⁻⁵ m).
